The history of Bayerische Motoren Werke AG, commonly known as BMW or BMW AG, began almost 90 years ago. First producing aircraft engines, later followed by motorcycles and then automobiles.
The importance of this car brand for classic car history is immense: from the early wins in the Mille Miglia in 1938 and 1940 up to the World touring car Championship, Formula two and Formula one today.
In 1998 Henk produced a serie of the BMW 328 from 1938, a legendary BMW sportscar which was later used as the basis for the early post-war efforts in the Formula Two series.
